About the setting 

Hannah's Huis is a home from home setting and I aim to make you and your child feel as comfortable as I can. I have a few main objectives that are outlined below. 

High quality childcare

 

  • Working with and following the EYFS

  • Working with you childs interests to promote fun learning

  • Setting achievable goals to further your childs learning and development 

  • A focus on activities promoting creativity such as music and arts and crafts

  • Promoting learning through play 

Promoting a healthy lifestyle 

 

  • Providing home cooked nutritionally balanced meals

  • Providing healthy and nutritious snacks

  • Promoting physical activity

  • Aim to spend some time each day outdoors - including walks and trips to the park 

A fun and unique setting 

 

  • A wide range of resources

  • Promoting times of free play to allow your child to explore their interests

  • Seperate play room in the conservatory full of natural light and allowing easy access to the garden

  • A fully enclosed outdoor space with seperate levels and various activities

  • An easy to access location on a quite street with lots of parking

Working with you to make your life easier 

 

  • Flexible childcare - willing to work outside normal hours on prior arrangement

  • Working with you to ensure routines and learning are consistent

  • Working with you to ensure any specific needs your child may have are met

  • Home cooked meals - willing to cater for different dietery needs

  • Flexibilty for your child - willing to use reusable or disposable nappies, happy to cater for bottle or breastfed babies, willing to do puree feeding or baby led weaning. Happy to wear children in sling or use pushchair. 

  • A quarterly newsletter to update you of any activities planned and changes as well as to celebrate your childs achievments

  • A daily diary for all the under 5's - so you know what your child has been doing during the day 

  • Learning journey folder - this will include evidence of their learnings
